This is getting out of hand! Who ever heard of this many weddings and celebrations?
Our paperwork from South Africa won’t arrive in time for my Visa extension application, so we had to have a quick civil ceremony at the Registrar’s Office (like City Hall in the States) this last Friday.
We decided to make a date-night out of it with a few other couples and also to have a good laugh about how many times we’re getting married. So, a few friends joined us for the ceremony and then celebratory drinks at a pub after. Then, we headed to a palace near Oxford for an outdoor rendition of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It.” We all brought picnics and enjoyed feeling like we were “cultured!” 😀
